I am Jan Ziehm.

My passion is inner development and consciousness. I accompany people on the way toward more aliveness, more self-love, and more of what they actually want.

My path

I discovered my passion for working with people after going through a crisis myself.

In 2009 I was working as a project management consultant. Like so many people I was built around performing: 50 to 60 hour weeks, tight deadlines, assignments that often felt pointless to me. Bit by bit I slid into burnout. I withdrew further and further from my social life. At some point, thankfully, I noticed, and I changed my working situation enough to be able to breathe again.

But the question of meaning stayed. What can I really bring about? Is this my place? I earned well, I had good prospects, and still, on another level, something essential was missing.

Then a friend told me about Thomas Hübl. After one introductory weekend it was clear to me: I am doing this. I joined his three year development programme, and from that point on my life changed profoundly. I got to know this way of working with people and realised: this is it. And I realised that I am really good at it, and effective.

That was 2012. Since then I have worked intensively with inner development, consciousness and meditation, and I try to let it flow into as many contexts as possible.

It was not easy to move from classic consultant to development guide, and to really show myself in that. Precisely because it matters so much to me, it feels vulnerable. Today I am very glad I took this path, and very grateful to the people who walked it with me.

I want to pass this gift on.

Jan Ziehm, guide for trauma-sensitive inner work and bodywork

My experience

I bring more than 15 years of experience in consulting, coaching and development work with individuals, teams and organisations.

My training:

  • Certified coach (integral and systemic)
  • Trauma-informed self-development with Thomas Hübl since 2012
  • Principles of Process Order after Tobias Konermann
  • Trauma-informed and somatic bodywork
  • Healing Hands: energetic flow work
  • Resonant Touch

What sets me apart from many others: I combine solid methodological knowledge with what I have lived through and integrated myself. Not theory, but lived experience.

What I believe

I believe every person has their place in this world. Not one you have to earn. One that is already there.

And when we stand in that place, really stand in it, life flows. We feel alive. We arrive in ourselves.

Many people have had experiences that moved them away from that place. Not because something is wrong with them, but because they had to learn to protect themselves. To me these are not faults. They are intelligent answers to life.

I believe this deeply: no person is wrong. This is not about improving yourself. It is about becoming again the person you always were.

This stance shapes my work. And it grew out of my own path.

When I began in 2012 to really engage with myself, a world opened up that I had not known existed, a little like Hogwarts. New, sometimes overwhelming, and full of possibilities I could not have imagined before.

Today I am more the person I want to be than ever before. Not because I became perfect, but because I stopped fighting against myself. And because there were people at my side who walked this path with me.

That is exactly what I wish for the people who come to me.

Many long to arrive in themselves. To fight less. To be less reactive. To trust themselves again. Some want a fulfilling partnership. Others want to release their grief, set healthy boundaries, or finally feel life moving in them again.

What connects them is the wish that things may become different.

I accompany people in walking that path. Again and again I get to witness more self-acceptance emerging. Difficult conversations becoming possible. Decisions suddenly made out of an inner clarity. Something falling into order, and people finding their way back to their own strength.

It moves me every time. Because I believe healing often creates nothing new. It reminds us of what has been in us all along.

If you come to me, you need to bring nothing. No plan. No finished story. Only the willingness to look together. We begin exactly where you are standing right now.

How I work:

No fixed methods to work through.

What there is instead: a space in which whatever is ready can emerge. At your pace.

The themes women bring me often have to do with dissatisfaction, needs and boundaries. What do I actually need? How much space am I allowed to take up? What holds me back? Sometimes also the longing for a relationship in which intimacy is really possible. Every theme is welcome.

We look together at what shows up in the body, at what the feelings are saying, and at what you think about it. We find out what lies underneath. What I bring: space, presence and relationship. What you need: nothing but yourself. And we meet whatever comes. I am there.

You make new experiences that overwrite the old ones. You come into contact with your needs, and with whatever stands in their way. We take both seriously. And step by step something becomes natural: new boundaries, and you can feel eros again.

That is the beauty of this work.

The next step

If you sense that this is something for you, get in touch. In the free introductory conversation (20 min.) we look together at whether and how I can accompany you. No pressure. No expectation.
